Compassion

Throughout this week students are being challenged to make an impact in the lives of others. One way in which students are being challenged to do this is with the organization Compassion.  Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults. For the cost of $32.00 a month students can help eliminate the chains of poverty. Each student was challenged tonight from the pulpit on how they can use their money to make significant change in the lives of others. Rachelle and I have sponsored a little girl for two years now and our family is completely on board with what Compassion does and stands for. If your student comes home wanting to sponsor a child help them find ways to earn money to make this a reality. We have found that the teenage years is when a foundation and a belief about being committed to missions takes place.
